    The Spokane Chiefs battled back from a two-goal third period deficit to force overtime but lost in the extra frame, 3-2 on Wednesday night. Jacob Cardiff and Dominic Zwerger each scored a goal and added an assist while goaltender Lasse Petersen made 33 saves for the Chiefs. Portland opened the scoring at the 5:53 mark of the first period, taking advantage of a Chiefs’ penalty to make it 1-0.  More >>
